Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Movie Critics app and website ("Movie Critics", "we", "us"). By using Movie Critics, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The game

Movie Critics is a party game for entertainment. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

If you downloaded the app from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content.

Movie information and scores

Scores in the game are approximate and provided for fun. They may not match the current published score for a movie. Movie Critics is an independent game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Rotten Tomatoes, Fandango or any movie studio. Movie titles and other trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the movies.

Premium

• Monthly Premium is a subscription that renews automatically each month at the price shown in the app until you cancel. You're charged through your App Store or Google Play account.
• To cancel, turn off auto-renew in your App Store or Google Play account settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase that unlocks Premium for as long as the app is offered, on devices using the same App Store or Google Play account.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. See Support for how to request one.
• We may change, add or remove Premium features and prices. Price changes to a subscription follow the store's rules, including any notice they require.

Playing online

• Use a display name that isn't offensive, hateful or impersonating someone else.
• Don't try to cheat, disrupt other players' games, or interfere with or overload our servers.
• Don't use the game for anything unlawful.

We may remove rooms or players, or limit access, to keep the game working and fair for everyone.

Availability

We work to keep Movie Critics running smoothly, but the app and online play are provided "as is" and "as available". Features may change, and online play may occasionally be unavailable.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to Movie Critics is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we'll give notice in the app or on this website. Continuing to use Movie Critics after changes means you accept the updated terms.
